# Stap 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Bepaal je doelgroep. Hebben je verschillende producten en\/of diensten ook verschillende doelgroepen? Hebben je klanten overeenkomstige kenmerken? <\/strong><\/h4>\n

De beste manier om succesvol te zijn in een nieuwe afzetmarkt, is te kijken naar je huidige klanten. Welke kenmerken hebben zij? Wanneer je je doelgroep zo gedetailleerd mogelijk in kaart hebt, kun je een look-a-like selectie maken. De kans van slagen is aanzienlijk groter wanneer je prospects benadert met dezelfde kenmerken als je klanten. Denk bij kenmerken bijvoorbeeld aan de branche waarin de onderneming actief is, het aantal medewerkers dat bij de onderneming werkzaam is en of de organisatie een starter is of niet.<\/p>\n

# Stap 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Kies een communicatiekanaal. Hoe bereik je je doelgroep in Nederland? Onderzoek of dit internationaal ook de meest renderende manier is.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Wanneer je heel specifiek je doelgroep in kaart hebt, ga je bepalen welke informatie je nodig hebt. De benodigde informatie is afhankelijk van het communicatiekanaal dat je gaat inzetten. Benader je je doelgroep via e-mail<\/a> of liever via post<\/a> of telemarketing<\/a>? Gegevens als NAW (naam, adres, woonplaats), telefoonnummer en e-mailadres zijn binnen je doelgroep aanwezig. Ook de namen van contactpersonen van verschillende functies zijn internationaal beschikbaar.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

# Stap 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Bepaal hoe je gegevens vast gaat leggen. Hoe is je huidige klantenbestand opgebouwd? Maak je gebruik van een CRM systeem en biedt ditzelfde systeem ook ruimte voor je internationale klanten? <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Zowel voor je Nederlandse als internationale prospect- en klantdata geldt dat het van belang is dat de gegevens actueel zijn. Verouderde gegevens kosten je onnodig veel tijd en geld. De juiste gegevens dienen in een systeem ingevoerd te worden maar moeten vervolgens ook onderhouden worden. Wijzigingen door bijvoorbeeld verhuizingen moeten tijdig in de database worden aangepast.
